Cost support application service has been open for a month. The State Treasury has paid approximately 60 million euros in cost support to date.
Cost support is meant for companies, whose business turnover has fallen due to corona and who have fixed costs that are difficult to adjust.
Apply for cost support by 31.8.2020
There is still three weeks left to apply for cost support, until Monday 31.8.2020. We hope all applicants who meet the statutory criteria apply for cost support by the deadline.
After August, no cost support can be applied for. The State Treasury is not aware of any new cost support initiatives.
Cost support has been applied for moderately
After the first month, 1 866 companies have received cost support. The average payment amount per company is a little under 30 000 euros.
The highest number of applications have come from the following industries: Land transport and transport via pipelines, catering and retail trade.
