The act on fixed-term support for business costs, as prepared by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment and the Ministry of Finance, was presented to Parliament for processing on 5 June 2020. The aim of the new cost support is to reduce the number of companies facing bankruptcy due to the coronavirus pandemic. Eligibility for the support requires the turnover of the company in question and its field to have declined significantly.
The cost support will by paid by the State Treasury. The application site for the cost support is open for the period of the 7th of July until 31st of August.
Next:
- The State Treasure amends the application based on the field-specific restrictions specified in the decree.
- The State Treasury will inform companies on the application process and the beginning of the application period through its website, social medial accounts and business associations.
