What?
Exploreadministration.fi is a service maintained by the State Treasury, which collects information regarding municipal finances and central government to a single website. It is a public service where user identification is not required.

Site provides e.g. access to
- the central government’s financial, personnel and profitability information
- the budget and financial plan information of municipalities and joint municipal authorities
- from beginning of 2021: actual financial figures for municipalities and joint municipal authorities

The central government’s information was published before in the government reporting service Netra

The information regarding the central government’s finances, personnel and profitability was published before in the government reporting service Netra that was opened in the beginning of the 2000s. All the information from Netra has now been relocated to the Exploreadministration.fi service. The government reporting service Netra was closed on 23 March 2020.

This is a big change for the users of the Netra service and the subscribers of the e-mail reports of the management reporting service. The changes are explained more detailed in the article that was published on the State Treasury’s website on 3 December 2019 (in Finnish).
