Henni Purtonen

Communications Specialist, Communications

Henni Purtonen is the scriptwriter and host of the podcasts “Tiedon luo” and “Työkulttuuripodi”, and works as a communications specialist at the State Treasury Finland. She is responsible for communications regarding government sustainability reporting, public procurement, and the final central government accounts, as well as the development of crisis communication for the state’s payment transactions. It’s worth calling Henni if you want to know what’s going on in these areas or if you need help finding a suitable interviewee.

Current phenomena, data-driven management, and managing uncertainty related to change are topics she enjoys. In influencing and communication, she is fascinated by projects that challenge existing practices – you must be ready to renew and seek solutions to societal problems.

Previously, Henni has worked at the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry with bioeconomy and sustainable finance and impact investments. She believes that the demand for societal impact will grow in the coming years and change the ways organizations, investors, and citizens plan, develop, procure, and act. Henni strives to understand enough about her areas of responsibility, but just enough to be able to communicate about them comprehensibly.
